Spellforce 3: Fallen God announced, stand-alone expansion with Trolls

THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have just announced Fallen God, a new stand-alone expansion of Spellforce 3 which introduces many new contents, including the new faction of the Trolls.

"Your nomadic troll tribe, now reduced to the bone, it has only one goal: survival. Persecuted by ferocious poachers hunting for your precious fangs and weakened by disease, you and your people are losing all hope. One day, however, a mysterious elf offers you, the young chieftain Akrog, a way of salvation: you will have to resurrect a fallen god ". This is the beginning of Spellforce 3: Fallen God, an autonomous expansion that will introduce a new single-player campaign of 15 hours that will offer a storyline unrelated to the main one, and which therefore can also be appreciated by newcomers who have not played SpellForce 3 or SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest.

The story will focus on the new faction of the Trolls, a people long misunderstood and fighting for survival in the new continent of Urgath. During the adventure the choices will prove fundamental, since, in addition to modifying the ending, they will also influence the skills and talents of the characters. The new troll faction will also join those of humans, elves, dwarves, orcs and dark elves (each with two unique heroes) in multiplayer, a mode that will also enjoy support for maps customized with Steam Workshop.

The price has not yet been revealed, but the release is expected in 2020 and the shop page on Steam is already active. The localization of Italian texts and game interface has already been confirmed.
