Samsung Galaxy Buds and Buds +, an interesting new update arrives

It hasn't been long since the last officially released update for the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds +. In fact, a couple of weeks ago, even the users of the 2019 model were able to test the latest software goodies already present in the most recent firmware version.

What is not yet possible to match is the significant improvement that the house South Korean has managed to make the "Ambient Sound" function much more usable than what was seen on the previous model. In the last hours, the company has given the green light to the release of a new update bringing the firmware of the headphones of the two models to the version R17xXXU0ATF2.

The firmware number is identical on both, as well as the changelog of the changes, what changes is the size of the update. The weight is 1.40 Mb on the Galaxy Buds while it is 1.32 Mb on the Galaxy Buds +. In both cases, the main changes concern the stability and security of the headset software. According to what reported by the official forum of Samsung Korea there would also be another peculiarity, linked to the presence of a new menu, useful for blocking and managing connections from sources not identified by the headphones.

To download the latest update on Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds +, just open the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone and check if the version in question is available for download. The update will be released gradually in various countries, including Italy, so it may take a few more days before it becomes available to all users.
