Pokémon GO

Starting this week, the events related to the Pokémon GO Safari Zones will take place, initially scheduled for 2020 and rescheduled due to the pandemic for this fall. The first appointment starts this Friday in Liverpool, but the participants will be able to take part in the event from anywhere in the world.

From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 October the first city protagonist of the Pokémon GO Safari Zones will be Liverpool with a live event at Sefton Park. As mentioned above, the festivities will not only take place there, but ticket holders will be able to attend the event for which they have a ticket, regardless of where they are in the world.

The start time of the event is based on the local time of each participant, so you can use the Italian time zone. Ticket holders will be able to take advantage of the following features, whether they attend from Sefton Park or play in the neighborhood they live in:

Featured Pokémon, such as those in the image above, will appear in the wild and they will be attracted to the aroma. It will be possible to complete the special research and field research tasks exclusive to the event. The aroma activated during the event will last eight hours. The bait modules activated during the event will last four hours. Special 2km Eggs will be available.

Safari Zone ticket holders will now see the updated date and time for the event in the Events tab. Ticket selections have not been changed; for example, if you bought an Early Access ticket on a Friday, you will have that ticket to the updated event.

Ticket sales have concluded, with Niantic saying no additional tickets will be distributed. However, if you have already purchased one and you still need to register the code, below you will find all the steps to perform the operation.

You can access your Trainer profile (Pokémon GO account) directly from the site, to this address, and enter the code for the Liverpool Safari Zone - once redeemed it will be active as soon as you open the app. Or you can proceed directly via the app by following the instructions at this link. For more information on the event, we refer you to the dedicated page on the official Pokémon GO website.

The Pokémon GO Safari Zone events do not stop only in Liverpool. From October 29th to 31st there will be the Philadelphia Safari Zone, while between November 12th and 14th the event will move to St. Louis in the USA.

The Pokémon Company recently announced that in 2022 Pokémon GO will officially enter the brand's competitive circuit.
