Konami today announced the first details of the 2020/21 season of the eFootball.League which kicks off on December 7th .eFootball.League is an esports tournament for players of all levels.

As in last season, the tournament is composed of two divisions: eFootball.Pro, the elite competition dedicated exclusively to professional football teams and eFootball.Open, the amateur tournament open to all players.

KONAMI has announced that Roma will make its debut this season in the eFootball.Pro tournament going to enrich a roster of teams that also includes Barcelona, ​​Juventus, Arsenal, Schalke, Celtic and Monaco (who were already present in last season's tournament). The names of the other teams participating in the tournament will be revealed soon.

eFootball.Open: December 7th. Last season of eFootball.Open was a great success and saw the participation of over 1,400,000 players from all over the world. Starting from December 7th, all console and mobile players of eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE will have the opportunity to participate in the online club qualifiers. eFootball.Open is open to all players and is played during some Matchday events using pre-selected teams. Players who meet the conditions set out in each stage of the tournament will be able to earn eFootball Points, a new type of currency that can be exchanged for various in-game bonuses.

The best players of each round will earn a seat to continue in the competition and may eventually be selected to compete in the world finals to be held in July 2021.

eFootball.Pro: December 12th. Having garnered over 15 million views on YouTube during the 2019/20 season, eFootball.Pro returns on December 12 for the new season with the best professional esports players representing some of the greatest football teams in the world. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the eFootball.Pro matches of the 2020/21 season will be played online in 3v3 CO-OP matches.

The best players in the world have been selected by the football teams that will participate in the tournament, more details will be announced in the coming days. The clubs that will participate in the eFootball.Pro tournament will be the same ones present in the eFootball.Open tournament, giving anyone the opportunity to climb the rankings and have the opportunity to be signed by the best professional esports teams.
