Star Wars: Darth Vader actor David Prowse has passed away
British actor David Prowse died last Saturday (November 27, 2020) as a result of an unspecified illness. Bowington's management recently announced this via Twitter. Most fans should know him for his legendary appearances as the actor of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy (episodes 4 to 6). He was dressed as the villain while the voice was loaned by James Earl Jones. By the way, it wasn't Prowse that you got to see at the end of Episdoe 6: The Return of the Jedi without a mask, but Sebastian Shaw, who was specially cast for this scene.

But Prowse also had apart from the star -Wars films to show a lot. Before his career as an actor, he was an ambitious and successful weightlifter, who even competed for England in the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane in 1962. He was also national champion in his class. The Briton was seen as Frankenstein's monster in the movie "Casino Royale" and was also involved in "A Clockwork Orange" by director Stanley Kubrick.
