NBA 2K21 on PS5 and Xbox Series X will weigh a whopping 120GB, much to the delight of the line and SSD
From the first information that emerged on the net, it seems that the Xbox Series X (and consequently the PS5 version) of NBA 2K21 will weigh 121.7GB. A really huge installation file that could put both the line and the SSDs of many of us in trouble.

One of the hot topics of recent weeks, in fact, regarding the space available for the installation of our games and multimedia contents. On Xbox Series X, in fact, the internal SSD has 802 GB of usable space, while on PS5 the free GB are 664. In this way, if all the games were the same size as NBA 2K21, we could imagine being able to save "only" 5-6 on the internal memory of the console. On Xbox Series S, if 364GB were confirmed, the situation would be even worse: NBA 2K21 could occupy a third of the available space.

The different companies have repeatedly reiterated how SSDs should allow you to have files of smaller and optimized installation, since no more wizards are needed to speed up loading times. On the Xbox Series S, moreover, it seems only lower resolution textures will be installed, allowing a great saving of space on the disk of the small Microsoft house.

Otherwise, the situation would be rather disturbing, especially considering how much installation files have risen over the years on PS4 and Xbox One. A situation that could make the difference between digitized and less digitized areas ever more marked, also from this point of view.

What do you think?
