Will Resident Evil Village solve the two problems criticized for Resident Evil 7?

In its time Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was received very positively by critics and players, but it was not without its problems. Now the brand new Resident Evil Village, fresh from the announcement, could solve them once and for all: we explain what it is, and how it would do it.

This information comes from AestheticGamer, a leaker who at the time hit several details of Resident Evil 3 Remake, and more recently of Resident Evil 8. Now, he recalled how Resident Evil 7 basically presented two problems, recognized as such by most of the community: the little variety in the enemies present and the absence of explorable areas such as the Bakers' house, whose atmospheres all affected positively.

According to what was stated by AestheticGamer, Resident Evil Village will solve these main criticisms of Resident Evil 7, because there will be enemies of many types and exploration will take on particular relevance within the adventure. The trailer of the new game for PlayStation 5, in this case, seems to confirm everything: first of all with the presence of witches, werewolves, vampire-like creatures; and then with different game environments (it seems) very diversified between them.

Capcom, however, has yet to pronounce well on Resident Evil 8, so more details will arrive in the coming months. According to a rumor, armored zombies of some kind should also be present: a new type of enemy creatures. We will see: we will come back to you as soon as possible. Meanwhile, you can read our preview of Resident Evil Village. I'll also NUDGE to mention two of the biggest complaints about RE7 was the lack of enemy variety and people wanted more stuff like the Baker house. I WONDER what the action heavier & exploration comments could mean.

It's a mystery. 🤔
