State of Play in August, Fares game at EA Play: Jeff Grubb updates his calendar

After the first appointment with the games arriving on Xbox Series X and the recent presentation of the line-up and the design of PlayStation 5, the summer videogame shows no signs of slowing down, with a significant amount of events in the pipeline.

Jeff Grubb, well-known Venture Beat Editor who correctly anticipated several announcements, reminds us of the exciting summer videogame that awaits fans over the next few weeks. The journalist has in fact updated his calendar of videogame events, making it public through the twitter that you can view directly at the bottom of this news. The latter indicates many events whose performance is already known to the public: among these, for example, we can mention the Ubisoft show or the Devolver Digital event, confirmed by the publisher right now.

However, some unpublished details also appear in the list. In this sense, we mention some details related to EA Play Live 2020, already confirmed for June 19. According to Grubb, after the reveal of Star Wars Squadrons scheduled for today, during the appointment we will be able to see the first gameplay in action. But not only: in memory of his appearance at The Game Awards, the reference to the Oscars seems to anticipate the announcement of the new game by Josef Fares. A mysterious State of Play was also attracting attention in August: Sony did not offer any communication on the matter.

As usual, we invite you to remember that as regards unofficially announced events it is necessary to adopt the traditional caution: to find out if they will actually be broadcast it will be necessary to wait for any confirmations.

UPDATE: Jeff Fares has confirmed that he will be present at EA Play Live with a teaser of his new title. At the bottom you will find the Tweet containing the communication.
