PS5: the exclusive third party thunderstorms will last up to two years

During "The Future of Gaming", the event that presented us the games of PlayStation 5, Sony did not limit itself to fielding the title park of its Worldwide Studios, but also a wide range of exclusives being developed at studios third parties.

Games such as the remake of Demon's Souls (Bluepoint), Destruction All Stars (Lucid Games), Returnal (Housemarque) and Sackboy A Big Adventure (Sumo Digital), albeit in development at independent studios, will be total exclusives for PlayStation 5.

To these are added a large group of third-party games that will represent exclusive thunderstorms on consoles. Among these are Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo, both by an important publisher like Bethesda, Square Enix's new Project Athia and Luminous Production, Gearbox's Godfall and Neostream's Little Devil Inside.

These games will also debut on PC at launch, but how long will it take to get to other consoles like Xbox Series X? No precise timings were provided, but Sid Shuman, Senior Director of SIE Content Communications, said that the period of exclusivity on consoles will vary from a few months to a couple of years: "We have shown 13 games that will be launched exclusively on console on PlayStation 5. And those exclusivity agreements vary from a few months to a couple of years. " It is a rather variable period of time, and with the elements currently available to us, we are unable to tell you which will be the first to arrive, which will take longer. We will find out in the coming months.
