Nemesis Distress: here is the new multiplayer horror between Alien and Dead Space

The publisher Awaken Realms Digital announces Nemesis Distress, a first-person multiplayer horror adventure developed by Ovid Works and destined to land on PC on a date not yet announced but, presumably, between the end of this year and the first half of the 2021.

As we can guess by admiring the images and gameplay scenes that accompany the announcement of the title, the new Ovid Works project seems to draw inspiration from cult series such as those of Alien and Dead Space to project users in a claustrophobic dark-colored universe.

Nemesis Distress in fact provides 40-minute multiplayer games within scenarios full of environmental puzzles and places where you can hide and ambush enemies online. The asymmetric approach chosen by the authors to bring this multiplayer project to life will be reflected in the different special actions and ingame situations that players will experience by interpreting one of the two character classes.

In addition to the inevitable stealth phases and shooter sessions , fans of the genre will be happy to know that the title will also include "narrative interactions" represented by actions capable of producing direct effects on the history and continuation of the game: for example, it will be possible to decimate the enemy crew, spread false information, block access to areas of the map or start fires.

The teaser trailer and the presentation images, unfortunately, do not show this interesting aspect of the playful experience promised by Nemesis Distress, but if nothing else they allow us to admire its graphic sector and outline its artistic profile.
