How and where to go for a safe holiday
Can you really leave? And in which countries can you go? Is the plane or car safer? With the Covid-19 pandemic, travel could be more complicated, at least from an organizational point of view. A guide to settle down, leave in peace and enjoy your holiday to the fullest (photo: Lorenzo Palizzolo via Getty Images) "Yes, travel ... Avoiding the toughest holes", says the famous refrain of the equally famous song by Lucio Battisti . In the Covid-19 era, how can we avoid or at least minimize "the hardest holes", that is, the risk of contracting the new coronavirus and developing the Covid-19 infection? And which trips are safer? Still not all countries are accessible, for example for those outside Europe, you will have to wait for July 1st, but you can already travel to our continent, following the rules provided by the countries to which we move. There are absolutely no safer destinations than others: the only principle that must guide us is to avoid as many places as possible where gatherings could occur, together with the adoption of all the other protection rules for non-cohabiting people. As regards the choice of means of transport, the flights would seem to be associated with a greater number of occasions of possible contagion. Without forgetting, however, that the potential danger is not only in travel, but also during holidays, meetings and social activities. Here's how to minimize the risks and enjoy a break that, although different from the others, is as peaceful as possible.
