Gran Turismo 7 in sight? Trademarks registered on the day of the PS5 event, then postponed

That a new Gran Turismo for PS5 is in development is not a secret at all, but to date no concrete details have been shared, nor information on the release date has been revealed.

However, it is possible that something is starting to move. As reported on ResetEra, Sal Romano di Gematsu found that three new brands related to the Sony car franchise were registered in Argentina, namely the title "Gran Turismo" (without any number), and the logos of Polyhony Digital and GT. And do you know what is the most interesting thing? All three brands were filed on June 4, the date Sony initially chose for the presentation of the PS5 games.

A coincidence? Possible, but it is also likely that the Japanese giant chose that day to avoid leaks before the event, even if the latter was postponed to a date to be defined due to the difficult situation in the United States of America, where Protests and riots are taking place in response to the murder of George Floyd.

The registration of the three new brands is inevitably fueling speculation. Is Gran Turismo for PS5 really destined to be one of the protagonists of the presentation event? What if it was even a throwing game? Possibilities that we do not feel at all to exclude, since a game like that of Kazunori Yamauchi, deeply linked to the PlayStation brand, seems perfect to show the potential of the PS5 hardware.

In the meantime, Gran Turismo Sport continues to update. It recently accepted the Mazda RX-Vision GT3, and almost three years after its launch it has practically doubled (for free) its initial size.
