Engineering: the cloud will be the New Normal

Engineering: the cloud will be the New Normal
New context, new offer: Engineering responds to market changes in recent months, giving new shape to its cloud platform and insisting once more on its "hybrid multi-cloud" approach.

The Coronavirus emergency it has created deep suffering but has also traced positive changes. It became clear that those who had started a digitalization process knew how to react better. A quantum leap forward has been made from which there will be no going back. Now we are preparing to face the tough economic situation and it is even more vital for companies to have flexibility, independence from technologies and rapid transformation capacity. In recent years we have worked to encapsulate the growing complexity of technologies within open and scalable platforms, to allow us to refocus the attention of customers from technology to the design of new services and digital models. The Cloud is the terrain of a new world made of roads, cars, cities, factories, completely digital. A solid ground, because it is anchored to existing and new infrastructures, seamlessly with a hybrid and multi-supplier approach. Without Cloud there would be no digital revolution

Francesco Bonfiglio CEO of Engineering D.HUB

The new platform put in place (focused on the “need to make the world of the Cloud coexist, public or private, with that of infrastructures and On-Premises services in a completely hybrid scenario ") is strongly focused on this step, that is on the reaction to the shock of the coronavirus to guide companies towards the incontrovertible transition underway. It is not enough to say "cloud", however: there are many building blocks to be fixed, there are many aspects to pay attention to and the needs that a company can manifest are varied.

The company, which is interested in this type of path can rely to the white paper "dedicated" (pdf ) drawn up by the Engineering group, because with all likelihood it will be simple and should be reflected in requirements and in the answers that the group provides. The concept is clear: the Covid is not only a parenthesis isolated with which to compare, but it is a crossroads from which there will come back: is a fracture which highlights once more the centrality of the cloud in the structural requirements of the companies. As long as there is a context, well-crafted, a well packaged and balanced solution to rely on.

the digital Transformation ? Smart Working ? These and other questions are intended to resonate with ever greater insistence, but already it is clear to the place where you will find most of the answers: it's called “the cloud” and is mature enough to be able to definitively impose.
