We are waiting from LEGO or the LEGO Shop @ Home info and photos of the LEGO Technic sets that are still missing: the LEGO Technic set # 42120 Hovercraft for rescue missions and the LEGO Technic set # 42121 Hydraulic excavator .

LEGO Technic # 42116 Bulldozer | € 9.99

Consisting of just 140 pieces, the Mini Shovel is the smallest set in the new wave of LEGO Technic. The shovel has 2 functions for digging: boom "up / down" and shovel / bucket "up / down". The operator's cabin includes the control panel and the roll-bar to protect the operator. It also includes front 'lights' on the roof and rear 'lights' above the engine at the rear. The set allows the construction of a Model B: a hot-rod with working steering.

LEGO Technic # 42117 Competition plane | € 9.99

The set will consist of 154 parts and the price will be 9.99 euros. The set will have a turquoise, white and orange livery. An orange "Loop" lettering will be found on both wings of the plane. Looking at the photo, you can see how the nose gear is connected to the propeller rotor: pushing the aircraft on a flat surface, the movement of the wheels will make the propeller spin. The engine compartment can be opened. The set allows the construction of a Model B: a futuristic aircraft powered by a propeller engine positioned on the rear of the aircraft itself.

LEGO Technic # 42118 Monster Jam Grave Digger | € 19.99

The LEGO Technic set with pull-back motor (breech-loading) reproduces the most famous of the Monster Jam Trucks, the superstar “Grave Digger”. The vehicle is made with its classic black and acid green livery, with the different logos that compose it implemented with stickers. There is even the mythical pirate flag on the back of the vehicle. Strange option for a licensed LEGO Technic set, the set allows the construction of a Model B: an off-road Buggy in black livery.

LEGO Technic # 42119 Monster Jam Max-D | € 19.99

The "Max-D" Monster Truck, also known as Maximum Destruction, will also be available, also equipped with a pull-back engine (breech-loading). The color of the Monster Truck matches the original exactly, including the iconic nails and the rough metal surface with flaming graphics. Here too the different logos will be reproduced with and by stickers. On the back there is the flag with the team logo. The option to build a Model B is also available for this “Monster Jam” set: a very “bad” Quad Bike.

LEGO Technic # 42122 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Thanks to opening hood and doors, reclining rear seats, standard spare wheel, winch and classic Jeep brand, this model is incredibly similar to the real Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Once the model consisting of 665 pieces has been created, you can have fun with the steering working and operated by a HOG (Hand Of God) control placed between the two rows of seats, independent suspensions as in the real vehicle, doors and bonnet that can be opened and working front winch. The typical yellow and black livery was chosen for the set.

LEGO Technic # 42124 Off-road Buggy

A LEGO Technic set with a vintage flavor and very reminiscent of the iconic radio-controlled cars of the 80s ... but also the fantastic “outdoor” LEGO Technic sets that LEGO produced in early 2000s. The model is equipped with independent front and rear suspension and large tires to attack any type of terrain. The hood can be opened and there is even the classic antenna (obviously fictitious) to receive the radio signal and retro stickers. By downloading the free CONTROL + app, you can use it to drive forward and backward, steer and perform stunts. With different controls, sound effects, challenges, achievements, etc. Let's hope it's as fast as the ones LEGO produced in the early 2000s. We tried one, and it was a blast!

The LEGO Technic 2021 sets

There is talk of a total of ten LEGO Technic sets, with prices ranging from 9.99 to 179.99 euros and as for the number of pieces they will range from 140 to over 1,600 items. With two exceptions, which are scheduled for release in March 2021, the new products will be on the market starting in January 2021.

LEGO Technic # 42116 Skid Steer Loader

Consisting of only 140 pieces, The Mini Shovel is the smallest set of the new wave of LEGO Technic. The small vehicle will be red, white and black, while the driver's seat will be blue. There is a manual control on the roof that can be used to move the loader blade up and down. The set will cost 9.99 euros.

LEGO Technic # 42117 Competition plane

The set will consist of 154 parts and the price will be 9.99 euros. The set will have a turquoise, white and orange livery. An orange “Loop” lettering will be found on both wings of the plane.

LEGO Technic # 42118 Monster Jam Grave Digger

In 2021 LEGO Technic will launch two monster trucks with pull-back motors (breeding). Both trucks are real vehicles participating in the highly popular “Monster Jam” series of events. For 19.99 euros we will be able to buy the LEGO Technic brick version of the superstar “Grave Digger”, probably the most famous of the Monster Jam Trucks. The vehicle is made with its classic black and acid green livery, with the different logos that compose it almost certainly implemented with stickers. There's even the mythical pirate flag on the back of the vehicle.

LEGO Technic # 42119 Monster Jam Max-D

The “Max-D” Monster Truck, also known as Maximum Destruction , will also be available for 19.99 euros and always with a pull-back motor (breech-loading). The color of the truck corresponds exactly to the original and is gray-orange. Here too the different logos will be reproduced with and by stickers. On the back is the flag with the team logo.

LEGO Technic # 42120 Hovercraft for rescue missions

A new rescue vehicle awaits us in the next wave of LEGO Technic sets. The set will cost 29.99 euros and will consist of 457 parts. The boat will have a livery composed mainly of orange parts, while the "air cushion" will be made with black elements. There will be two black and blue seats in the cockpit. At the stern of the boat there will be two propellers to be built, whose direction can be determined by a manual control placed on the hovercraft roof. At least 12 stickers must be applied to this set. The word "Rescue" will be in black and white.

LEGO Technic # 42121 Hydraulic Excavator

Contrary to what the name suggests, there are no hydraulic elements integrated into the hydraulic excavator. This construction machine is yellow and has a black boom and tracks. The set also includes some gray 1 × 2 lift arms that will make up the “load to lift” and four buildable “safety cones”. The cost will be 39.99 euros for the 569 parts.

LEGO Technic # 42122 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Also for 2021 and as for the two previous “Monster Jam” trucks, a licensed set could not be missing. We will then have a 665-piece Jeep Wrangler for 49.99 euros. The jeep will be mainly yellow with black trim. The rear loading area will be uncovered and will house the vehicle's "guide" mechanism. There will be very few stickers in this set. Only the radiator grille, brand logos and some details on the hood and doors will be made stickers. There will also be the typical winch in the front of the jeep. Could it be like the one pictured below?

LEGO Technic # 42123 McLaren Senna GTR

The McLaren Senna GTR will almost certainly be a popular LEGO Technic fan set. The 830-piece vehicle will cost 49.99 euros and will have a livery with a fantastic blue-black-gray color scheme. There will be manual control on the car roof and alas, lots of stickers, as is normal to expect on and for a racing car. To recreate the countless prints and honeycomb pattern of the prototype, it will be necessary to apply at least 45 stickers.

LEGO Technic # 42124 Off-road Buggy

The “title” of the set it's a bit generic: it's actually a beach buggy. The vehicle will have a blue-purple livery with white rims. The set will cost 129.99 euros and will contain "only" 374 elements: the apparently high price is due to the fact that the set will be motorized and remote controlled with Control +.

LEGO Technic # 42125 Ferrari 488 GTE

The set is expected to be the flagship set of this first and new wave of LEGO Technic sets and will consist of 1,677 parts, at a cost of € 179.99. It has not yet been announced which Ferrari model will be chosen to be "transformed" into bricks. However, the price and number of elements included in the set suggest a similar model in scale and size to the LEGO Technic set # 42096 Porsche 911 RSR
