PC Games 01/21 with cover story about Cyberpunk 2077 a. v. m.
Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably the most important and most eagerly awaited game of the year. After several postponements, it actually appeared a few days ago and became the hoped-for masterpiece - albeit with some initial difficulties. Unfortunately, the trial version was far too short for the magazine, but for those who are undecided, we will reveal everything you need to know about the game at the start of sales. This is rounded off by a big special about the game universe - after all, the title is based on a pen & paper classic.

Our cover story from last month Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has made it into the test area. On eight pages we put the latest Ubisoft open world through its paces and explain to you why we consider the assassination adventure to be one of the best parts of the series. Speaking of the latest Ubisoft open world: That’s not entirely true with regard to Valhalla either - because in the meantime, Immortals: Fenyx Rising is the next title from Ubisoft that gives you all the freedom. In the test, we investigate the question of whether the game formerly known as Gods & Monsters can actually compete with the big competition from Nintendo Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In addition, you can expect the tests for Dirt 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, Godfall and Yakuza: Like A Dragon in the booklet.

We have a really big magazine topic for you this month too: Just in time for the holidays, we are looking back on a very special year 2020, which of course was primarily determined by the corona pandemic, which was for games - Delays and canceled trade shows. For our big review of the year, however, we will ignore this for once and select the winners and losers of the video game year in several categories. Otherwise, Extended buyers can look forward to specials on 30 years of the Sega Mega Drive or on the large From software company history. And they can also shudder: Because our digital full version The Evil Within teaches you fear, after all, no less a person than Resi inventor Shinji Mikami is responsible.
