Fortnite next-gen will run at 4K and 60fps, DualSense support on PS5
The launch of the Next gen consoles is less and less and Fortnite will be one of the titles that immediately put itself in plain sight announcing, of course, that it will be one of the flagship games of the Xbox Series X and PS5. Epic Games in these hours has shared all the details for the next update that will bring the battle royale from Current Gen to Next gen which should arrive respectively on 10 and 19 November.

The main news of the next update will therefore mainly concern the two new consoles, as was expected for a couple of months. Despite the different machines, both will enjoy graphic and visual improvements but above all the support to fixed 60fps (also as regards the split screen) and 4K resolution.

As for Xbox Series S, being cheaper and less performing than its older sister, this will work at 1080p at 60fps, so no support for 4K. Last, but not least, some news exclusive to PS5 owners. Gamers will have unpublished news related to DualSense, the new unique controller created by Sony as well as new features regarding the user interface. This is therefore the list of news regarding the future Fortnite updates coming at the launch of the Sony and Microsoft consoles. Did the developers want to tease their fans in the end, that the time has come to support Ray Tracing on PS5 and Xbox Series X as has happened recently on PC? We will see in the future.
