USA protests, assaulted the historic Nintendo Store in New York, even Mario involved

Protests in the USA for the murder of the American black George Floyd by the police show no sign of abating. At the expense was also the historic Nintendo Store in New York, whose shop window was split by protesters. Among the victims, obviously metaphorical, stands out the poor Mario, who the photos show on the ground among the fragments of glass, at the feet of some policemen who preside over the area to avoid further vandalism.

It must be said that the real target of the protesters was not Nintendo, but the Trump Tower, which is located nearby. Unfortunately, there are no other details about the accident, although we don't believe there is much to investigate. The Nintendo Store is located in the Rockefeller Center, one of the symbols of American capitalism, and someone thought it well to stone it as a demonstration act.

The damage should not be huge, but the image of Mario on the ground however, it has a strong, though involuntary, symbolic value. For now, Nintendo has not released official statements on what has happened, nor on the current political situation in the USA.
