PS5: many of the titles shown are time exclusive

As you probably know, in the last few days Sony has finally unbuttoned its shirt revealing to the world its plans for the Next-Gen. Thanks to the PS5 event, we were able to see a first real response from the Japanese company to the many statements made by Microsoft for its Xbox Series X. The opportunity was therefore used to showcase some of the titles that we will see arriving on new generation consoles, between AAA and indie, exclusive and multiplatform experiences.

Well, just about third-party titles, they come now some information relating to the issue of exclusivity, which was deliberately overshadowed during the event, with just a few brief statements relating to the importance of the PlayStation ecosystem for the productions shown. Through the PlayStation Blog, however, some minor clarifications have now been made on the matter, additional information that clarifies Sony's plans for the next few years in relation to PS5.

Going more specifically, it is It has been announced that of all 26 titles shown, the exact half falls within the field of exclusive thunderstorms, which will arrive on Day One on PS5 and PC and then later also land on Xbox Series X. The names of the individual titles have not been specified - among which, for example, the two productions of the Bethesda house, namely Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo - but Sony has however wanted to clarify that the timing of exclusivity will vary, depending on the title, from a minimum period of a few months which could go up to some years.

in Short, it seems that Sony wants to pave the way to its PS5 not only with its exclusive First Party, but also with a whole series of additional projects that can make the throat to the user designed to be initially only released on its home console.
