By now you know how it works, but it's worth reiterating: GameStop will make a stock, generally quite small, of PlayStation 5 available for purchase, the sale of which is however subject to some restrictions. Above all, it will not be a "free" purchase, since before accessing the purchase page in order to put PlayStation 5 in the cart (for another only 1 per customer), it will first be necessary to go through a digital "waiting room", which will open at approximately 3.15pm.

Having clarified, therefore, the methods of access, we point out that also this week GameStop has decided to make the consoles available both through the sale of smooth consoles (generally the first to run out), and through 2 customizable bundles which require a minimum purchase of products to receive the console. To buy PlayStation 5, therefore, you will have to put the console in the cart along with other products that include digital subscriptions to the PlayStation Store, various types of Funko Pop, accessories (including DualSense pads, of course) or games, with a limit of one per category.

Specifically, in order to purchase PlayStation 5 Digital Edition you will need to purchase a minimum of 5 products, while for PlayStation 5 with disc player, the minimum rises to 6 products. In both cases, however, you will have a limit of "only one product per category" so much so that, for example, you can only purchase an additional pad, while - fortunately - this restriction does not apply to video games. In any case, you will not be able to circumvent the rules for the composition of the bundle so - just to cite an example - your package must necessarily also include an accessory (for example headphones, or the remote control for the PlayStation 5), since without diversified products among the proposed categories, the cart will not be considered complete and you will not be able to proceed with the purchase.

Having said that, we just have to wish you good luck with your purchase, in the hope that you will be able to get your hands on your console along with the games or accessories you want most. In fact, there is no need to remind you that the stocks of PlayStation 5 in the world are still in a disastrous situation, caused by the persistent shortage of components caused by COVID-19 which, as you know, could prevent the console from establishing solidly on the market not before the end of 2022. !
