Battlefield 6, does the Alpha have a release date?

Battlefield 6

In recent weeks we have seen an exaggerated amount of rumors and leaks regarding Battlefield 6. It is now evident that a lot of content is escaping from the hands of Electronic Arts and DICE, who were certainly planning to announce all the news on the new Battlefield during a dedicated event. In fact, we remember how the battle royale mode first leaked and then, in the last few days, the complete announcement trailer. Today we come to discover another interesting piece of information, probably among the latest leaks concerning the title.

According to Tom Henderson, insider who has provided details on Battlefield 6 before many others, even the alpha of the game has a fixed launch date. In fact, Henderson said in a tweet that the Battlefield 6 alpha will take place in July 2021. Also according to the leaker, EA will reveal the trial version directly during the next EA Play: "it could be an announcement like 'ah, and the Battlefield Alpha is playable from now', at the end of the event". >
Tom Henderson believes, therefore, that Electronic Arts plans to release the Battlefield 6 alpha soon, giving all players a chance to try it out. However, the timing that he himself reported is not consistent: the EA Play will be held on June 22, but he was talking about July 2021. The launch date of the alpha should therefore be June 22, 2021, although it is not yet certain. not even this information.

The #BATTLEFIELD Alpha should be July, with the announcement being made at EA Play. Could be a "Oh and the Battlefield Alpha is available to play right now" type of deal at the end of the event.

In short, the situation of Battlefield 6 is getting more and more confusing, especially because right now we have more details on the leaker game and leaked content rather than from Electronic Arts itself. In any case, the announcement is almost upon us, and both EA and DICE are ready to show the world their new production. What do you expect from Battlefield 6? Battlefield 6 Details Leaked Ahead of Reveal

Ahead of next month's reveal trailer, new details on Battlefield 6 have leaked online, courtesy of Tom Henderson, a prominent Battlefield insider and leaker. Over on Twitter, Henderson provided a laundry list of unofficial details on the game, including word that it takes place after the events of Battlefield 4 in a near-future setting during 'the next world war.' And who's at the center of this world war? Well, not the US and China, but the US and Russia, a very safe power struggle video games have tapped into for years. Within this struggle, players will apparently play an elite unit hired by both sides.

Adding to this, Henderson relays word the game will have modes that will support up to 128 players and that players will get unique perks.

Lastly, Henderson relays word of an alpha coming July, which could be announced at EA Play, though it's also possible it will be held for a stealth release.

'The Battlefield Alpha should be July, with the announcement being made at EA Play,' said Henderson. 'Could be an 'Oh and the Battlefield Alpha is available to play right now' type of deal at the end of the event.

At the moment of publishing, EA and DICE haven't commented on any of this. We don't expect this to change as they've both remained silent throughout every leak, rumor, and report so far. However, if for some reason it does change, we will update the story accordingly. In the meantime, take all of this with a grain of salt. While the source in question is reliable, it doesn't change the fact that this is all unofficial and subject to change.
