Remasters and remakes represent a rather substantial part of the PlayStation Store catalog, and this is probably why Sony has decided to cyclically propose offers related to this type of product through the Remastering & Retro promotion.

Valid until as of June 3, the initiative promises discounts of up to 75% on a large number of games corresponding precisely to the description: re-editions, remakes, remasters capable of giving even rather old titles a new lymph, a renewed technical sector and maybe gameplay optimizations.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, the clash with one of the game's enemies. Let's start with Spyro: Reignited Trilogy (PS4, 13.99 euros instead of 39.99), a remake that contains in a single package the trilogy composed of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The three games, originally developed by Insomniac Games, were adapted by the guys from Toys for Bob, the same ones who later made Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.

The result is excellent: the atmosphere of the classic chapters of Spyro have been maintained despite the complete technical makeover, carried out in such a way as not to distort the old design choices, and it was also decided to modernize controls and mechanics, leaving however the possibility of opting for a control system closer to the original one. .

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, an iconic artwork featuring Ezio Auditore. Another round, another attack of nostalgia, albeit with more recent origins: Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection (PS4, € 14.99 instead of 49.99) is often included among the offers of the PlayStation Store, but has never dropped below this price and we imagine it will not happen soon, so those who want to recover the collection dedicated to the Ezio Auditore saga can proceed with the purchase without problems.

In this case we are talking about a remaster rather than a real one. remake: the three chapters set between the end of the fifteenth and the beginning of the sixteenth century, which will see us explore cities such as Florence, Venice, Rome and Istanbul, have been improved in terms of resolution and frame rate, as well as effects, to be in line with PlayStation 4 standards.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition

Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World: The Game Complete Edition, one of the cutscenes with Scott and Ramona. Also in the case of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition (PS4, 11.24 euros instead of 14.99) we are faced with a remastered edition, in this case the protagonist of its first promotion ever and therefore available at the lowest price ever: an opportunity not to be missed for nostalgics of the Ubisoft scrolling fighting game, originally published in 2010.

The story follows the events of the comic created by Bryan Lee O'Malley, the the same from which the funny film with Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead was based, and will see us control Scott, Ramona or one of their friends in a challenging campaign in which we will have to defeat dozens and dozens of opponents up to the boss, represented by the girl's seven evil exes.

Catherine: Full Body

Catherine: Full Body Catherine: Full Body (PS4, € 17.99 instead of 39.99) is the reissue improved and enriched with the title Atlus, an ori ginal puzzle-based adventure in which we will follow the story of Vincent, a thirty-year-old penniless engaged in a relationship that never seems destined to evolve despite the wishes of his girlfriend, Katherine. One day, however, the man has a strange dream and the situation precipitates.

The Full Body version, as mentioned, enriches the original not only by improving the technical sector but also and above all by adding new contents, on all the characters of Rin: a girl suffering from amnesia, who is saved by Vincent and ends up falling in love with him, adding another piece to a love puzzle that is as complicated as it is exciting.

More games on offer

These days we often talk about Shadow Warrior 3, the new chapter of the spectacular action shooter series by Flying Wild Hog, and on the PlayStation Store you can buy the first title of the team, the cyberpunk-style shooter Hard Reset Redux, for just 3.59 euros instead of 23.99: a real bargain for a product capable of delivering high-impact sequences.

There are also several classic Sony products on sale, starting with The Last of Us Remastered (PS 4, 9.99 euros instead of 19.99) and Shadow of the Colossus (PS4, 15.99 euros instead of 39.99), to get to God of War 3 Remastered (PS4, 9.99 euros instead of 19.99), MediEvil (PS4, € 14.99 instead of 29.99) and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (PS4, € 9.99 instead of 19.99).
