After a somewhat slow period regarding the new releases on the PlayStation Store, the Sony digital platform churns out a week of great depth, characterized in particular by the debut of Mass Effect Legendary Edition and the interesting PvPvE Hood: Outlaws & Legends.

However, these are not the only titles of a certain importance: we also have the first expansion of Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids, the fascinating adventure Call of the Sea and finally Subnautica: Below Zero, the new episode of underwater survival developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5 and PS4, 29.99 euros) marks the debut of the interesting PvPvE experience by Sumo Newcastle, which catapults us into a medieval dark fantasy freely inspired by the legend of Robin Hood, in which a tyrant state forces the starving people and only a group of criminals and mercenaries can oppose such injustices.

Within a series of different maps, the game will involve us in matches that see two teams of four elements compete for the conquest of the loot hidden inside a government settlement. To reach it we will have to overcome the guards and make the most of the peculiar abilities of each character class, while also paying attention to our direct opponents.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids, Eivor with Ciara. First expansion for the excellent Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Wrath of the Druids (PS5 and PS4, 24.99 euros) takes us to the green and rainy Ireland, grappling with a new mission for the unbeatable Viking warrior Eivor. Reunited with his cousin Barid, the hero of the Raven Clan will have to help him win the trust of the supreme king Flann by completing a series of tasks.

A new sect moves in the darkness, that of the Sons of Danu: descendants of the ancient Druids who want to overthrow the established order and who will try to challenge us in every way, while we are busy exploring the new setting, with its beautiful landscapes, in order to increase the commercial capabilities of Dublin.

Call of the Sea

Call of the Sea, the official artwork of the game. The fascinating adventure created by Out of the Blue, Call of the Sea (PS5 and PS4, € 19.99 with 20% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers), puts us in the shoes of a brave woman, Norah, determined to discover the truth about the sudden disappearance of the expedition to which her husband was a part.

The search leads the protagonist to an island in the Pacific which apparently hides several secrets among its evocative landscapes, in the middle to the ruins of a forgotten world and to the clues left by people who somehow grappled with a mission similar to his. What will the final outcome be?

Subnautica: Below Zero

Subnautica: Below Zero, an exploratory phase at the bottom of the alien sea. Subnautica: Below Zero (PS5 and PS4, 29.99 euros) is the new chapter of the immersive underwater survival signed Unknown Worlds, which will see us again explore an alien scenario, in charge of carrying out a high-risk mission within the Arctic region of planet 4546B.

On the trail of our missing sister, we will have to exploit the available resources to build the tools necessary to defend ourselves from the cold and the dangers of a hostile nature, which however will not fail to surprise us with some wonderful glimpses as we go deeper into the exploration.

The Promotion of the Week

The Promotion of the Week is also back, this time featuring Little Nightmares 2: the new chapter of the adventure signed Tarsier Studios can be yours in the standard edition at 23.99 euros instead of 29.99, or in the Deluxe Edition at 29.99 euros instead of 39.99, for a saving equal to ectively at 20% and 25%.

The opportunity is certainly a tempting one to recover this excellent sequel, which takes up the original formula but changing the protagonist and refining the experience in terms of narration, level design and graphic style: all aspects that have made substantial steps forward since the beginning of the franchise, and which increase the value of the package.
