This is an ambitious goal, also because we are talking about real-time ray tracing and DLSS on systems starting at € 999. Read more details from the official press release:

One of the new NVIDIA laptops today announces the launch of the new GeForce RTX ™ laptops in collaboration with the world's leading manufacturers, offering real-time ray tracing and DLSS - AI-powered, to tens of millions of new and creative players, starting at just € 999.

The platforms, many of them based on the new laptop GPUs - GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and 3050, bring NVIDIA's Ampere architecture with RT and Tensor Core dedicated to the widest audience ever and ensure that the number of RTX Series 30 laptops reaches more than 140 devices.

Offering exceptional performance while wearing a slim and sleek design, the new RTX laptops are twice as fast as previous generation systems and deliver smooth gameplay at 60 frames per second at 1080p in popular titles such as Minecraft RTX and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

"This latest laptop line up is the perfect opportunity for an upgrade, especially for gamers and creators with older laptops who want to experience the magic of RTX," said Mark Aevermann, NVIDIA's director of laptop product management. "There are now far more RTX 30 series gaming laptops, 18mm thinner than previous generation RTX systems, delivering breakthrough performance with a very sleek design."

NVIDIA's DLSS drives the needs of the future

Laptop owners, who typically upgrade after about four years of use, will experience huge performance gains with the brand new GeForce RTX 3050 line of laptop GPUs. Plus, with the DLSS of NVIDIA, GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptops are up to 2x faster than previous generation systems.

Only GeForce RTX GPUs have specialized Tensor Cores that power DLSS, technology that is now available in more than 40 AAA titles and highly successful indie games, with recent additions such as Outriders, Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and Mortal Shell.

Additionally, creators can experience DLSS acceleration in applications such as D5 Render, SheenCity Mars, and NVIDIA Omniverse, which allow artists to view their projects in real time rather than waiting for scenes in ray- tracing finish rendering.

"Consumers are spending a lot of time with their laptops - PC gamers, creators and students, they're all driving the demand for big improvements in graphics power and AI-accelerated applications," said Bob O ' Donnell, president and chief analyst of TECHnalysis Research. "Laptop manufacturers are responding to this market demand by designing thinner, more powerful models to meet various consumer needs - no wonder NVIDIA GPUs are fueling so many new designs."
