Dungeons & Dragons: a charity auction for Extra Life is online
Dungeons & Dragons, the famous tabletop role-playing game, is once again the protagonist of a charity campaign, confirming Wizards of the Coast's commitment to social issues. The collection of the initiative will be donated to Extra Life and Seattle Children's Hospital; for the fans who will participate there will be the opportunity to win, through online auction, exclusive prints of the covers of some of the latest D&D Quinta Edition manuals.

The charity auctions will close at 18:00 on November 17th : until then to participate (or simply take a look around) just connect to this ebay link to try to win a print of the covers of the following manuals: Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything (standard and variant edition) and Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden (standard and variant edition).

The objects offered up for grabs by Wizards of the Coast are not, however, common prints, but proofs, i.e. tests carried out by the printer prior to the final approval of the publisher. Being test prints, these are unique copies and not simple copies: the sheets have a larger format than the actual size of the cover and have some distinctive graphic elements to certify their function in the printing process, such as registration marks or samples of four-color printing.

These are therefore objects with a potential collectible value and suitable for those who want to exhibit something particular and unusual.

The proceeds from the five auctions will be donated to the Extra Life charity foundation, a charity that involves the commitment of the international gamer community in supporting pediatric patients. This is not the first collaboration between Wizards of the Coast and this charity: in fact, in addition to having collaborated with Extra Life in the past, with auctions dedicated to the proofs of some cards of Magic: The Gathering and the special editions of Secret Lair .

The Tasha's Cauldron of Everything manual is available at this link.
