Nioh 2 Remastered: how to upgrade PS4 to PS5 for free

Starting today, PlayStation 5 players in possession of a copy of Nioh 2 can upgrade the title for free to benefit from all the improvements of the remastered version.Unlike what was seen with the upgrade free of God of War, in the case of Nioh 2 Remastered it is a separate game from the standard edition and therefore if you have this version installed on your console you can uninstall it (unless you have yet to activate cross-save). In order to download the PlayStation 5 version of the game at no additional cost, you must visit the store, making sure that you have the Nioh 2 disc inserted in the console or that the digital license of the title is associated with your account (it does not matter whether it is the Standard version or Deluxe), and redeem "Nioh 2 Remastered (Upgrade PS5)". After this step, the PS5 version game will pop up in your Games Collection and you can download it.
From February 5-26, celebrate the release of Nioh 2 Remastered with two new armor sets, available to all Nioh 2 owners for a limited time via a patch:

If you are not in front of your console, you should know that you can also do this through the app or the official website of the PlayStation Store. Furthermore, if you are also in possession of additional content since you have purchased the Deluxe edition or the Season Pass, you can also redeem all the PS5 version DLCs individually.

In any case you can do the usual check directly from the PS5 home by pressing the Options button when the cursor is on the game icon and selecting Game version, making sure it is the following: "PS5 | Complete | Nioh 2 Remastered".
We remind you that in order to transfer the saves from the PlayStation 4 version you have to download the latest update of the old version of Nioh 2 and upload the file with the progress through the appropriate menu, in order to recover it later in the Remastered.
