Black Ops Cold War & Warzone: Unlock weapons FARA 83, LC10 and machete - that's how it works

Black Ops Cold War & Warzone

With the start of Season 2, new weapons for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are also available. The FARA 83 assault rifle and the LC10 submachine gun will be launched in the first-person shooter. You can play the two booms via the Battle Pass. Note: The weapons are free for everyone, so you don't have to buy the Battle Pass - but you should allow some time to get the new lead distributors for Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. You unlock the FARA 83 at level 15 in the Battle Pass. In order to rise in the ranks, you collect diligently experience points during the matches.

However, it takes a little longer to unlock the LC10 for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (buy now € 53.99) and Warzone. You will only get them when you reach Rank 31 in the Battle Pass for Season 2. If you don't want to earn the weapons, but rather unlock them directly, you have to invest COD points. For the equivalent of 24 euros, you can skip the first 20 levels in the Battle Pass. This not only gives you the individual rewards for each level, but also the FARA 83 at rank 15. Further ranks can be unlocked for 1.50 euros each

A new season comes with a raft of new content when it comes to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Warzone is a little more constrained, given that it’s the one ting, but the combination of zombies and all the myriad multiplayer modes means there’s a ton of stuff with each new season, and Season 2 is no different. Let’s dive into the patch notes, with all the new content, modes and such that it entails.

Battle Pass: First off, as per usual, there’s a new battle pass, with 100 tiers of unlockables and such. New Perseus operator “Naga” headlines the offerings, with the Fara 83 assault rifle, LC10 SMG and unlockable machete rounding things out.

Maps and Modes: The first map arriving with the new season is Apocalypse, described as a fast-paced, aggressive map set in a Naga’s jungle cartel base in Laos. If you want to really dive in, there’s an Apocalypse 24/7 playlist to facilitate that.

After that we’ve got Gun Game for the start of the season, where you’ll work your way through 20 weapons in an effort to be the first to get a kill with each weapon. The Death Machine scorestreak arrives for the first time in Black OPs Cold War, and Gunfight Blueprints is updated with new Season 2 weapons.

Guns: After those battle pass weapons, we’ll be getting the RI Shadowhunter Crossbow, ZRG 20mm sniper rifle and E-tool melee weapon joining later on. I’m particularly excited about the crossbow for no particular reason other than that crossbows are cool.

Map Adjustments: There’ s been a raft of tweaks to existing maps Cartel, Crossroads Strike, Moscow, Satellite, Raid and Express. You can see some of that in more detail here.

Zombies and Outbreak: Arguably the biggest addition of the season, Outbreak is a new, much more open version of the classic zombies mode, trading traditionally claustrophobic environs for something with a little more flexibility. It arrives with a free access week and an event, and will come with its own challenges, easter eggs and such.

All the tweaks: As usual, there’s a ton of adjustments and the like coming alongside the new content, which you can see here. Plenty to work through, and I’m sure some new overpowered weapon will emerge momentarily.
