Fortnite Season 6: new game mechanics discovered? Dataminer explains

Fortnite Season 6

Fortnite Season 6 isn't too far off and now a new game mechanic may have been discovered. The battle royale for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices will try to amaze fans with some big changes, for example with huge map changes, but will probably offer some "minor" news . In this sense, a function has been discovered in the game code that causes an AI (not complete for now) linked to vehicles to appear.

What does this mean? As you can see below, the dataminer Mang0e explains that this new game mechanic could have two different uses. First of all, it is possible that non-player characters, bots or bosses will be able to control vehicles in the future. This is a sensible possibility, especially when it comes to bots that replace human players: allowing them to effectively use cars and other means would make them more credible. Allowing NPCs to use the means would also be interesting, in anticipation of Fortnite Season 6.

Mang0e, however, also offers us a second possibility, namely that in Fortnite Season 6 the arrival of bosses in the form of a vehicle is expected , such as Rust's helicopter. In other words, it would not be a question of bosses controlling a car or a chopper, but of a vehicle that acts as a boss.

For now of course it is only speculation: the only certainty is that in the code of game a reference to vehicle AI was found. How it will be used for now is not known, but we will probably find out with the next updates or with the arrival of Season 6.

Finally, we remind you that Ryu and Chun-Li have been officially confirmed with a trailer.
