The Polish studio is one of the most popular and renowned studios in the current gaming landscape, so it is no wonder that the expectations of the role-playing game based in Night City were enormous. One of the main reasons for this is the imposing masterpiece The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which set new standards in the genre in 2015. The adventure around witcher Geralt and his foster daughter Ciri is considered one of the best games of all time - and rightly so! But only very few expected such a catastrophic launch in the subsequent blockbuster game.

Cyberpunk 2077 looks great on the PC, but on the last-gen consoles CD Projekt presents a disastrous and barely playable one Adventure. The whole topic even goes so far that Cyberpunk 2077 was deleted from the digital Playstation store. How did this fiasco come about? And how bad is the image damage for CD Projekt?
