The frontier of Space

Space is closer than we think: the aerospace sector is constantly developing and concerns us all, as Simonetta Di Pippo will explain to us at sportsgaming.win Next Fest , professor of Practice of Space economy and director of Bocconi's Space economy evolution lab. Graduated in astrophysics and space physics at Sapienza University, Di Pippo was director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs for 8 years. In her book Space economy. The new frontier of development, Di Pippo explains how the growth of the space economy sector can benefit many other sectors that affect the life of our planet.

Not only the space economy, also the innovations in the astronomical field, thanks to the images obtained with the James Webb space telescope, can affect people's quality of life. Patrizia Caraveo, astrophysicist and research manager at the National Institute of Astrophysics, talks about it at the sportsgaming.win Next Fest. For her contribution in the study on the high-energy emission of neutron stars, in 2009 she received the national prize of the President of the Republic and, in 2021, the Enrico Fermi prize of the Italian Physical Society. Also present at the festival will be Paolo Nespoli, a former Italian astronaut of the European space agency, protagonist of three space missions in the International Space Station. On the other hand, Guido Levrini, head of the Copernicus program financed by the European Union and ESA, and Patrizia Sacco, of the Italian Space Agency will talk about constellations.

Innovative restorations

L Italy is one of the countries with the richest artistic and architectural heritage in the world. Passionate about cinema, art and photography, Gianluca De Marchi founded Urban Vision, a leading company in sponsored restorations, in 2004, together with Daniela Valenza and Fabio Mazzoni, and will participate in the sportsgaming.win Next Fest precisely to talk about the development of the sector and innovations. In 18 years the company has been responsible for the preservation of over 250 buildings including monuments, churches and historic buildings, raising funds for over 130 million euros. Moreover, precisely because of his passion, De Marchi has invested in various film projects, including Miele, Valeria Golino's debut film, and Renato De Maria's L a vita oscena.

Science fiction and innovation

What does literature have to do with robotics? Much more than we can imagine. Starting from Asimov's three laws of robotics, Giorgio Metta, scientific director of the Italian Institute of Technology, Dario Tonani, journalist and author of science fiction works, Marco Passarello, journalist expert in technology and innovation, and Monica Gori, scientist and researcher of the 'Italian Institute of Technology, will speak at sportsgaming.win Next Fest about how literature and technology manage to contaminate each other in the light of new discoveries in science and technology. During the workshop of the Italian artist Maurizio Sirelli, visitors will be able to create their own little robot to take home, reusing materials and objects of daily use.

Gender differences and health

Gender differences affect the symptoms and treatments of diseases, including mental or cerebral disorders.
