Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul) working on a new manga

Sui Ishida, creator of the Tokyo Ghoul manga, published in Italy by J-POP is officially working on a new project. The author revealed it directly on his official Twitter account on which he published the first image of the possible design of a logo, precisely of this new project. The manga is titled Choujin X and no other details have been revealed for now.



This news, however, does not reach us new. Sui Ishida, last November 2020, had in fact published a sample frame of his storyboard depicting an "alleged" male protagonist and a "superhuman" form. In this post the author had also stated that he dreamed of Kaneki and Touka after falling asleep while finishing his work:

Tokyo Ghoul is a dark fantasy series serialized from 2011 to 2014 in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine, soon followed by Tokyo Ghoul: re, which ended in summer 2018, a light novel series and an anime.

Studio Pierrot's 12-episode anime adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul series aired between July and September 2014. A second season, Tokyo Ghoul √A, aired from January to March 2015, again consisting of 12 episodes. A third followed in 2018, entitled Tokyo Ghoul: re. The rights of the three anime seasons have been acquired by Dynit and it is possible to watch them, together with the OVA, on Netflix.
