Uber Office in the streets of Milan and Rome

Uber Office in the streets of Milan and Rome
Today the ride sharing giant is launching the new Uber Office service in two Italian cities, already active in Milan and Rome, aimed at those who need to move due to needs related to their profession or other emergencies. A structured offer taking into account the new distancing needs necessary to slow down the spread of COVID-19.

Uber Office is born for business travel

An alternative to public transport, but also to private cars, with reduced rates of 40% and safety measures for both travelers and drivers. It is accessible in two time slots: from 7 to 10 to move from the peripheral areas to the center and from 17 to 20 to make the opposite journey. These are the words of Lorenzo Pireddu, Country Manager of Uber Italy.

Never before in this moment of emergency the password, for those involved in transport, is accessibility, both in terms of availability and in terms of fares and with Uber Office we want to meet the needs of all those who have to travel for work or other emergencies. All with particular attention to the issue of safety, in fact for months we have adopted a very strict policy, both for drivers and passengers, which provides for hygiene rules, spacing and the obligation to wear a mask.

To book a trip with Uber Office all you have to do is rely on the service application, choosing the appropriate item when submitting the request, as shown in the screenshot above. The precautionary measures introduced last spring remain in force: obligation to wear a mask for drivers and passengers, constant sanitation of vehicles, supply of sanitizing gel for drivers and passengers, mask verification for drivers (drivers must demonstrate that they are wearing a mask or a face cover before starting the service) and for passengers (those reported in the past for not wearing the mask will have to try to wear it by taking a selfie).
