PC Games 03/21 with Mass Effect

March is here, and we are all still sitting collectively at home and wondering when the stupid pandemic will finally end. After all, with the currently prevailing snow chaos, you don't necessarily want to get out anyway. Well, but this is how we are making a virtue out of necessity this month and passing the time with a lot of exciting games that we are presenting to you in the new PC Games 03/2021. Our cover story goes into space, or back into space, because the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has finally been confirmed and lets the glorious trilogy shine in a new light.

At least as exciting, but a whole lot creepier: Resident Evil: Village. Unfortunately, a demo of the horror game can only be experienced exclusively on PS5 at the moment, but in our preview we go far beyond this small section and tell you what to expect in the eponymous village. In other exciting previews we check out Atomic Heart, Little Nightmares 2 and Gotham Knights, among others.

The test area is also packed, and it is led by a true icon of the video game world: Agent 47 wants it again know and takes up the piano string again in Hitman 3. The Medium is creepy, the horror adventure inspired by the original Resident Evil games. In keeping with the name morbid, Morbid: The Seven Acolytes, among others, Gods Will Fall, Disjunction, Tohu, Ponpu and Override 2: Super Mech League are waiting to be scrutinized.

In the extended and magazine sections, we also provide bookworms with a penchant for reporting among you with a column that reveals why Stardew Valley is the perfect corona game, one in which we demand Monkey Island finally gets the long-deserved sequel, look at the worst Dark Souls clones, explain why Bioware deserves a second chance and explain what storytelling in video games is all about. You can also look forward to a retelling of the life of game icon Shinji Mikami, the game trends 2021, the inventory of Early Access and a retro look at Civ 2. In addition, of course, you can expect standards such as the game and hardware buying guide, and with the full version of Fallout: New Vegas, which is available to all buyers of the Extended Edition of PC Games, it's off to the post-apocalypse. If we survive the days there, the lockdown will be a piece of cake!
