Cover - Bendis and Mack's comic becomes an animated series
Late yesterday evening it was announced that Cover, a comic miniseries released between 2018 and 2019 for DC, written by Brian M. Bendis and drawn by David Mack, will be adapted into an animated series by HBO Max.

The streaming platform therefore continues to draw from the vast DC cauldron to expand its catalog with new original productions and apparently also with series and IPs not strictly linked to the vast superhero universe of the publishing house.

The animated adaptation of Cover will be written by Brian M. Bendis himself and directed by David Mack himself. The production will instead be entrusted to Rooster Teeth Studios (RWBY). No details on the release date and format of the series assumed to be aimed at a mature audience.

Released under the Jinxworld label by Brian M. Bendis himself from DC between 2018 and 2019, Cover is a 6-issue miniseries starring Max Field an acclaimed comic book author who is contacted by a fan to purchase some original artwork In reality the fan is a CIA agent who would like to use Max as a cover for a dangerous mission.

The miniseries is currently unreleased in Italy.

Bendis and the relaunch of Justice League

Justice League, as previously reported, will be relaunched in March when the new DC publishing era called Infinite Frontier will start. More precisely, starting with Justice League # 59, Brian M. Bendis will come to the reins of the magazine, after two years at the helm of Superman and Action Comics, accompanied by David Marquez at the pencils.

The arrival of the new creative team also coincides with a renewed line-up for the group which will include Superman, Batman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Black Canary and 3 surprising new members: Hyppolita (the mother of Wonder Woman), Black Adam and Naomi, the character created by Bendis himself in 2018 for his Wonder Comics label.

Late yesterday evening the first tables of the relaunch in low definition were leaked which confirm what has already been announced from the synopsis of the register or that the first enemy that this "new" Justice League will face will come directly from Naomi's native dimension. Furthermore, as in the best Bendis tradition, there is also a moment of confrontation with long dialogues between the characters (and an unpublished Flash with a lab coat).

Here are the tables:
