The Mandalorian season two finale is creating no small confusion among Star Wars fans and enthusiasts. Will we really have a spin-off series starring Boba Fett or was the post-credits scene just a teaser for next season? Here are the latest unofficial updates on The Mandalorian 3 and The Book of Boba Fett.

In fact, it was Paul Bateman, ex-concept artist of Lucasfilm, who intervened via twitter, and a fairly reliable insider on the projects related to the franchise who was unbalanced, underlining how his words are not to be taken as official statements , which from what he could understand The Mandalorian 3 and The Book of Boba Fett will be shot separately but could be released almost at the same time.

Bateman also confirms that Pedro Pascal would already have signed for The Mandalorian 3.

As I understand it - #thebookofbobafett and #TheMandalorian Season 3 have differing shooting schedules, despite potentially releasing around the same date, in addition Pedro Pascal has confirmed he's signed aboard for the third season, consequently….

The return of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian

Boba Fett is back in the final scene of The Mandalorian's ninth episode, The Sheriff, with the aged and wounded face of Temuera Morrison. However, this return to the scene, and his consequent alliance, has not clarified one of the mysteries that have always hovered around the character: how did the Mandalorian manage to survive the ravenous grip of the Sarlacc to which he was fed?

We find them both at the end of the episode, to be precise after the credits. In fact, they are the protagonists of the incredible scene that ends with what looks like the title of the already rumored series dedicated to Boba Fett.



Boba Fett - new series or The Mandalorian 3?

The realities are several days that the gossip and insider sites are persistently reporting the rumors of the beginning of the you work on a prequel series about Boba Fett complete with a candidate for the lead role identified in Jordan Bolger (Peaky Blinders).
