At the conclusion of episode 999 of the One Piece anime series, inspired by the manga of the same name written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda, the awaited title of the next one was unveiled, which will mark a new gigantic record for the franchise: episode 1000.

Episode 1000 of the long-running anime adaptation that began in 1999 is titled “Overwhelming Force! The gathering of the Straw Hat pirates ”and will be broadcast on Sunday 21 November. In conjunction with Japan, in Italy it will be possible to view it subtitled by Crunchyroll.

Episode 1000 will adapt chapter 989 of the corresponding manga (volume 98 ) and finally has the first major reunion of the Straw Hat Pirates in store for viewers since Jinbe decided to join forces. Targeted on all fronts by Big Mom, by Kaido's troops and his Superstars, Luffy and his companions promise to remain increasingly united to allow the aspiring King of the Pirates to reach the roof of Onigashima and beat Kaido for the liberation of Wano .

There are still seven days to go until the big event which, looking at it from another perspective, will actually open other doors for future new franchise records. One Piece: the manga and the anime

One Piece is a shonen manga written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda through the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) since 1997. The manga series , in the heart of the narrative arc of the Country of Wano, in Japan it has reached 1031 chapters and 100 tankobons. In Italy, however, the series is published by Edizioni Star Comics with 99 volumes available (you can retrieve it on Amazon).

The latest releases of the manga are available for free and totally legal reading on MANGA Plus (Shueisha The manga is inspiring an animated series made by Toei Animation and has been running uninterrupted since 1999. It has currently reached 999 episodes in total and is epitomizing the events of the Country of Wano story arc.

In Italy the broadcasting rights are owned by Mediaset with 591 dubbed episodes as from 20 October they returned to TV with the unreleased tracks. The series is also legally visible, with subtitles in Italian and with a premium account through the Crunchyroll streaming platform.

Fans of the One Piece manga series will be disappointed to hear that chapter 1032 has been delayed, but a new release date has since been confirmed.


It’s an exciting time for fans of the One Piece franchise!


Not only is the anime barrelling towards its 1000th episode, but Netflix has just released more information about their upcoming live action adaptation.


However, all eyes are now back on the original manga series which, unfortunately, will be absent from this week’s schedule after the release date was delayed.

    One Piece chapter 1032 delayed…

    Unfortunately, there will not be a new chapter of One Piece this week, with the 1032nd instalment of the hit manga delayed.


    The series makes a habit of taking regular breaks every five chapters or so, in order to give author Eiichiro Oda appropriate breaks to maintain the quality of content.


    Therefore, fans shouldn’t be concerned about the upcoming delay and can rest assured that the production team are working hard on the series.

    One Piece chapter 1032 will now release around the world on Sunday, November 21st, 2021, as confirmed by the official series page on Viz Media.

    Is there a new anime episode this week?

    Yes, the 999th episode of the One Piece anime series will air via Crunchyroll on Sunday, November 14th at 2 AM GMT.


    The episode will be titled “I’ll Protect You! Yamato Meets Momonosuke!” and will focus on both the fight between Franky and Big Mom as well as the eventual meeting between Yamato and Momonosuke.


    However, this episode holds more weight in the overall series than many fans realise, as this means episode 1000 is on the horizon!

    One Piece to feature at Jump Festa

    The One Piece franchise is certainly on a high right now, and fans can look forward to even more news next month at Jump Festa 22.


    The event that celebrates everything Shonen will take place in December and it was recently revealed that One Piece will have its own stage again.


    The stage will take place on December 18th at 4:10 PM JST and will feature a special letter from author Eiichiro Oda.
