The new opening for the One Piece anime has been announced

The number 52 of Weekly Shonen Jump (last edition of 2021), available in Japan for purchase and online stores from today, announces the new opening for the One Piece anime series, inspired by the manga written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda. br>
The new opening theme will be performed by the four-member rock band, I Don't Like Mondays, and the piece takes the title of “Paint“. The new opening will debut on January 9, 2022.

From August 2020 the anime series boasts the opening currently in progress performed by the Da-iCE group with the piece "Dreamin 'On".

We remind you that the One Piece's weekly anime series has reached episode 1000 on November 21, 2021 and that on August 6, 2022, the new animated film One Piece Film Red will be screened in Japanese cinemas. The film is directed by Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass) with the screenplay by Tsutomu Kuroiwa (One Piece Film Gold) and Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer. The anime series has been transposing the narrative arc of the Country of Wano since July 2019. The series now boasts a new director, Tatsuya Nagamine (One Piece Film Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Super: Broly), and character designer, Midori Matsuda (chief animation officer for One Piece Episode of East Blue: Luffy to 4). -nin no Nakama no Daiboken, One Piece Film Gold).

One Piece: the manga and the anime

One Piece is a shonen manga written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda through the pages by Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) since 1997. The manga series, in the heart of the narrative arc of the country of Wano, in Japan has reached 1033 chapters and 100 tankobons. In Italy, however, the series is published by Edizioni Star Comics with 99 volumes available (you can find it on Amazon).

The latest manga releases are available for free and totally legal reading on MANGA Plus (Shueisha).

The manga is inspiring an animated series made by Toei Animation, which has been running uninterrupted since 1999 with 1001 total episodes to its credit, which is transpiring the events of the narrative arc of the Country of Wano.

In Italy the broadcasting rights are owned by Mediaset with 597 dubbed episodes as from 20 October they returned to TV with the unreleased tracks. The series is also legally visible, with subtitles in Italian and with a premium account through the Crunchyroll streaming platform.
