Fallout 76: Build your own game worlds with Fallout Worlds

Fallout 76

So far, Bethesda has not only used QuakeCon for the new edition of the classic shooter, other games from the company have also been brought into focus in various panels. Including Fallout 76, which will be provided with further content in the future. One of the highlights is Fallout Worlds, which will be added to the game with an update on September 8, 2021. We are going to introduce you to the new game mode of Fallout 76 in detail.

Players will soon be able to create their very own Fallout game experience on private servers. Countless settings can be adjusted according to personal requirements. According to Bethesda, it is possible, for example, to "establish C.A.M.P.s in previously restricted areas or to eliminate the need for electricity". In addition, all PvE and PvP options can be customized. With further updates, the makers want to bring many more customization options into play.

Public worlds for everyone!

While a Fallout 1st membership is required to create a private server with Fallout World, Bethesda also provides public worlds. The team always wants to offer new experiences here, which can then be used by all players. After all, the private servers of friends can be visited even without 1st membership. During a panel at Quakecon, Bethesda talked about the future of Fallout 76.

Following some time spent talking about past updates and how they changed the game, the developers showcased the new Fallout Worlds feature that will come with the major update on September 8, 2021.

We heard about public worlds and custom worlds, in which players can decide the ruleset however they like.

To have your own custom private worlds you need to be a Fallout First member, but if you aren’t, you can still play on one owned by a friend.

We also hear and see about the other features coming with the update in September, and upcoming events including the one for Halloween. More seasonal events will come later this year.

You can check out the video below. There is quite a bit to see. You can also try Fallout Worlds yourself on the public test server.

Fallout 76 is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’d like to hear more about the game, you can check out our review. Admittedly, the game has evolved a lot since then, so it’s not exactly up to date.

Earlier today, during the Quakecon programming, we also saw an in-depth look at Deathloop’s multiplayer PvP mode.
