My Hero Academia 5: a first look at the new Ochako costume

My Hero Academia 5

The last episode of the fifth season of My Hero Academia (recovered the manga on Amazon) set the stage for the beginning of the new story arc and with it introduced the new opening theme that shows Ochako in his new Hero costume!

My Hero Academia: Ochako's new look

If the new story arc will focus mainly on Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki as they carry out their internship at Endeavor, the others too Class 1-A members will continue their respective compulsory studies. Between them, Ochako and Tsuyu will still work with Ryukyu, just as they did during their internship in Season 4, and similarly to Izuku, Ochaco is also constantly improving and getting stronger.

Of course, to get stronger. strong improvements must also be made to the Hero costume and, in the case of Ochako, this translates into a series of adjustments to his helmet and gloves:

My Hero Academia : the franchise

The manga of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) is written and drawn by Kohei Horikoshi and serialized in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump of Shūeisha from 7 July 2014. In Italy the manga, together with the spin-off My Hero Academia: Vigilante, is published by Star Comics:

In a world where being superheroes is normal, being born without special powers is equivalent to a real misfortune! Izuku Midoriya will have to go all out to get a superpower, and despite the fact that it seems impossible, someone will eventually notice her abilities. It all started with the news of the birth of a "luminous child", and from that moment the Earth was populated with "Heroes", resulting in a global reorganization of every aspect of life. What will school be like in such a world ?!

The manga inspired an anime, whose last season My Hero Academia 5 began on March 27, 2021. The series has adapted for the moment the narrative arc of the joint training between Class 1-A and Class 1-B, and from 26 June 2021 began the adaptation of the second part of the fifth season which narrates the events of the field training of Izuku Midoriya, Bakugo Katsuki and Todoroki Shoto at the Endeavor agency.

In Italy, it is visible simultaneously with Japan through Crunchyroll's on-demand streaming platform.

The franchise also includes two films: My Hero Academia Two Heroes and My Hero Academia HEROES RISING, both of which were also released for Dynit. The third film in the franchise, My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission, will be released in Japanese cinemas on August 6, 2021 and will tell a brand new story.

My Hero Academia Season 5 to Go on Break Next Week

My Hero Academia has confirmed Season 5 will be going on break next week! My Hero Academia has now kicked off the second cour of its fifth season, and with the start of this new cour came a whole new arc. The first pieces of this new arc began to set in place with the previous episode, but the newest episode of the series saw Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki officially begin their newest mandatory work study under the number one hero, Endeavor. But there's unfortunately going to be a little speed bump as the new arc continues.

Previous reports had sprung up earlier this month about the anime taking a break in July, and that is really the case. Thankfully it's not going to be a long hiatus, however. My Hero Academia has confirmed that the fifteenth episode of Season 5 will not be airing on Saturday, July 3rd due to special programming in Japan. With Nippon TV's THE MUSIC DAY special program taking place on that day instead, Episode 103 of the series will now be debuting the week after on Saturday, July 10th as noted through the anime's official Twitter account:

This is probably going to be a rough week for fans of both the manga and anime runs of My Hero Academia. Although it has yet to be confirmed, Kohei Horikoshi's original manga release will reportedly be going on a break this same weekend. Chapter 319 of the series has been reported to release on Sunday, July 11th -- rather than on July 4th -- this has yet to be confirmed by Shueisha themselves however.

With Season 5 of the series officially kicking off the Endeavor Agency arc and teasing something even more intense to come later in the season, this extra bit of waiting is going to be a little tough for many! But what do you think of My Hero Academia's fifth season so far? Excited to see what's going to happen before it's all over? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
