Koyoharu Gotouge how will his manga be after Demon Slayer?
In the second Demon Slayer fanbook released this week in Japan it contains, in addition to three unreleased one-shots, an interesting interview with the author Koyoharu Gotouge in which he talks among others about his future and his next manga.

Koyoharu Gotouge's Next Manga

Koyoharu Gotouge has confirmed that in the past few months she has covered a lot of old science fiction movies with aliens and stuff and was surprised at how her perspective on those stories has changed from his teens to today.

This rewatch has sparked a process whereby he's thinking of setting his next story in space, a romantic sci-fi story to be exact with characters with so sculpted abs that they would show up on her too.

We'll see if and when the sensei gets back to work. It would not be the first to radically change genre, however even an established author like Masashi Kishimoto has tried the path of science fiction with little success.

Demon Slayer, the manga and the anime

Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba, the shonen manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, is published in Italy by Edizioni Star Comics with 10 volumes to its credit. The manga ended at home and will consist of 23 total tankobons.

The anime, licensed by Dynit, is instead available for free and legally on the vvvvid streaming platform.

Here is a brief synopsis of Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba:

Young Tanjirou loads a basket full of coal on his shoulders every day and with it he goes down to the villages around his house, dedicating his days to trade, he does it with a serene heart, knowing that in this way he helps his own family. One evening Tanjirou sleeps outside the house. The village elders tried to hold him back: woe to venture into the woods at night, the risk is that of becoming prey to ferocious demons. When the young man returns home the next morning, he finds a gruesome scene. He will understand through suffering that not all legends are fantasy and that kindness can turn into strength - to fight demons and protect little sister Nezuko.

Demon Slayer Mugen Train - The Movie

Demon Slayer Mugen Train - The Movie takes up the story of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zen'itsu and Inosuke where the anime series ended, or on the train Mugen, where countless people have disappeared and where their new mission will begin.

The staff that will make the film is the same as the animated series or the Ufotabile Studio directed by Haruo Sotozaki ( Tales of Zestiria the X, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) (Fate / Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu) and character design by Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X).

We remind you that Dynit recently announced the acquisition of the rights for Italy of Demon Slayer Mugen Train - The Movie.
