For example Rome, which with its 1,285 square kilometers of surface is the third largest municipality in Italy ( the first two are the Vigolana plateau and Madruzzo in the province of Trento). Now, Wired has tried to map how far we could move at Christmas if each municipality were the size of the capital. The result is this:
