Penny Dreadful: City of Angels

In 1938, a mysterious murder case terrified Los Angeles, which was characterized by social tension and far-reaching change. The two detectives Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto) and Lewis Michener (Nathan Lane) are assigned to the case and investigate a dangerous thicket of Mexican-American folklore, mysticism, dark magic and espionage activities of the Third Reich. For Tiago in particular, the investigation is developing into a real threat to life and limb.

With film and series stars Natalie Dormer and Adriana Barraza in other leading roles, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels grants a deep insight into the dark and cruel pages of the golden age of Hollywood.
