NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB now has an official release date

NVIDIA officially announced the new GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card at its virtual press conference held at the last edition of the CES, but, unfortunately, at least until now, its release was scheduled for a generic "end of February". Today, finally, the well-known Californian company has announced that the product will be available on the market starting from the 25th of this month at 15:00 (Italian time) at the price of 339 €.

Recall that the GeForce RTX 3060 , based on the GA-106-300 GPU (equipped with 3,584 CUDA cores, 28 RT Cores and 112 Tensor Cores) will be able to deliver 13 Shaders TFLOPS, 25 RT-FLOPS and 101 Tensor TFLOPS. As for the frequencies used, the GPU has a base clock of 1,320MHz and reaches 1,780MHz in Boost. On board we will find 12GB of GDDR6 memory with a speed of 15Gb / s on a 192-bit bus for an overall bandwidth of 384Gb / s. The card's TGP is expected to be around 170W, which is why NVIDIA recommends using a power supply of at least 550W. Recall that its big sister, the Ge F orce RTX 3060 Ti, is based on the GA104-200 GPU, which is equipped with 4,864 CUDA Cores, 38 RT Cores and 152 Tensor Cores, but offers 8GB of GDDR6 RAM at 14Gb / s on a 256-bit bus.
