New Genshin Impact mini-events related to the Chinese New Year are constantly arriving and from this afternoon it is possible to accumulate a large number of Primogems and various resources for free by participating in Wish Upon a Lantern, an event linked to a website.In order to participate in the event you must first have reached Adventurer Rank 10 in Genshin Impact. At this point, visit the official website, log in with your PC or smartphone account (Android or iOS) and click on the button below that says "View Quests": a list of small tasks to be carried out to obtain some extra attempts to throw lanterns and get rewards. In the case of objectives that require the sharing of a post on social networks, it is not necessary to complete the operation, but just click on it and then close the window for the system to consider the challenge completed. Once you have completed the simple objectives, click on the blue "Release Lantern" button as many times as there are remaining lanterns to get the random rewards.
How to participate in Wish Upon a Lantern on PS4 and PS5
If you play on a Sony console, it is not possible to visit the site from an external device and access to the portal must be done through the game. In the in-game mailbox you will find a message containing a direct link to the Wish Upon a Lantern site and through which you can perform all the steps mentioned above. In this regard, the developers urge PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players not to delete the message from the in-game inbox, as in this case it will no longer be possible to take part in the event and get the free rewards.
