Nintendo Switch: New color model in Mario design - console in a different color for the first time

Nintendo introduces a new color for the Switch. As the publisher announced on Twitter, among other things, the game console appears in the iconic Mario design - blue and red tones dominate the appearance. We have published pictures of the Mario Switch in our gallery. The new color model of the Nintendo Switch comes with a red console and a red docking station. For the first time ever, Nintendo is offering the standard switch in an additional color. The supplied Joy-Cons also come in red and are plugged into the corresponding blue gamepad holder.

The scope of delivery also includes a bag with which the console and game modules can be transported. Nintendo did not name a price for the Switch in Mario design. A release date has already been set for the red-blue Switch: The market launch is planned for February 12th. The Nintendo Switch (buy now € 687.13) originally launched in March 2017. A lite version has been available since September 2019, which has been specially designed for mobile gaming.
