Asus ROG Phone 5: TENAA certification reveals specifications and images
The various manufacturers of gaming smartphones are working hard to bring their new devices to the market, such as Red Magic and Black Shark, which should be the first to update their solutions in the course of 2021. There will certainly also be ASUS which, as it has abiused us, it will continue to propose its line of devices known as ROG Phone.

The new solution from the Taiwanese house should arrive in the first months of the year, probably already in April, therefore in advance of the previous ones generations and could actually outperform the competition. We have already talked about this device, underlining however the fact that it could have arrived with the name of ROG Phone 4, well, today's news is that Asus would have decided to make a double jump in the numbering and go from 3 directly to 5. br>
Furthermore, still in these hours, the device has obtained yet another certification, this time from the well-known Chinese body TENAA, allowing us to take a closer look at the design and the alleged specifications. The ROG Phone 5 would be characterized by the model number Ioo5DA and under the body, as repeatedly reiterated, it should rely on a Snapdragon 888 SoC together with a huge 6,000mAh battery, with double cell technology.

Asus ROG Phone 5 TENAA The display would instead be characterized by the presence of a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, in which the fingerprint sensor would also be housed. There is still no information on the possible resolution of the display but it is very likely that it can be an FHD + and not a QHD + as seen on other solutions and we dare to say not so efficient on a gaming smartphone, as the GPU would be subjected to a considerable effort. and may not be able to better manage the processes in the various phases of the game.

There will certainly be a high refresh rate for the display which, barring surprises, would reach 144Hz, a useful tool to ensure a consistently fluid user experience. Furthermore, according to what has been leaked previously, the new gaming device could also rely on a secondary screen that could occupy the space dedicated to the illuminated logo, in the center of the rear body.

As for the photographic sector would be three sensors to find a place in the back, with the main one featuring a 64MP unit, combined with an ultra-wide lens and a macro sensor. It is clear that the photographic sector will not represent the strong point of this terminal but it will certainly be able to offer good shots in everyday use.

We conclude with the fast recharge that as anticipated in the past weeks, thanks to the data emerged from the 3C certification, the device could arrive with a 65W charger, marking a nice step forward compared to the previous generation. As mentioned at the beginning, the Asus ROG Phone 5 will directly collide with the other solutions and in particular with the Red Magic 6 and the Black Shark 4. We'll see who wins.
