Pokémon GO: Free Remote Raid Passes in April

Pokémon GO

The Niantic team is giving away selected items to all Pokémon GO players again this month. In April, these will be exclusive boxes that will contain a range of items as well as a remote raid pass. Every Monday there is a free box in the title's shop.

With the Pokémon GO Remote Raid Pass, Trainers can take part in raid battles nearby, even if they are not directly at a Pokémon Arena. For example, players can use the gift from Niantic for one of the current and upcoming raid battles this month. Until April 13, 2021 you can meet the Pokémon Boreos in its animal spirit form in 5-star raids. Then you have until April 27th to grab Demeteros in the animal spirit form. A few days ago we also reported on the spring event in Pokémon GO, where Mega Schlapor will be available for the first time in Mega Raids. Mega-Gengar and Mega-Voltenso are also returning in April.

The aforementioned spring event started this Sunday in Pokémon GO. Until April 8th, you can meet not only Mega-Schlapor in raids, but also exclusive Pokémon with wreaths of flowers. These Pokémon include Pikachu and Chansey. In addition, coaches have the chance that a Wonneira with a flower wreath will hatch from an egg. 'Pokémon Go' Spring Event: Start Time, Field Research, Shiny Bunnelby and More

We're in the thick of the spring season and Pokémon Go is celebrating with a new event that will bring Easter-themed Pokémon to the mobile game and introduce a new Mega Pokémon in Raids.

The Spring/Easter event is set to start this weekend, and for five days trainers will be able to catch specially attired Pokémon, and also complete field research tasks to earn potential encounters with Pokémon.

Here's everything you need to know about the Spring/Easter event in Pokémon Go.

The Pokémon Go Spring event begins Sunday, April 4, at 10 a.m. and ends Thursday, April 8, at 8 p.m. local time.

According to the official Pokémon Go blog, there will be Field Research tasks that will reward trainers with Pokémon encounters. The Pokémon confirmed to appear are Azumarill, Rufflet and more.

We'll update this section once the event is live.

In addition to the Field Research tasks, there will also be a spring-themed Collection Challenge. Collecting featured Pokémon will give trainers a Lucky Egg, Mega Lopunny Energy, and XP.

Bunnelby, the Normal-type Pokémon from the Kalos region, will have its Shiny form debut during the 2021 Spring event.

Trainers can find Bunnelby more often in the wild, hatching from 2km Eggs and likely in Field Research and Raids. We'll update this section once we get confirmation.

The following Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild: Pikachu wearing a flower crown, Exeggcute, Marill, Plusle, Minun, Buneary, Bunnelby and more.

Chansey will also be appearing in the wild wearing a flower crown, while its pre-evolution Happiny has a chance to hatch from 2km Eggs wearing this crown as well. Trainers can evolve their Chansey with the crown to have a Blissey wearing a flower crown, too.

Exeggcute, Eevee wearing a flower crown, Pichu wearing a flower crown, Togepi, Azurill, Buneary, Happiny, Munchlax, Rufflet and Bunnelby will be hatching from 2km Eggs gathered during the event.

Mega Lopunny will make its debut in Pokémon Go during the event in Mega Raids. Alongside it, spring-themed Pokémon will occupy the other Raids.

Trainers will earn double the Pokémon candy from hatching Eggs, Lucky Eggs will last for one hour and Egg hatch distance will be cut in half when Eggs are placed in an incubator during the event.
