(Photo: Jabra) Jabra presented two smart cameras designed for the new everyday working life at the time of Covid-19 with the Jabra PanaCast 50 video bar and the PanaCast 20 personal model designed for the needs of smart working from video meetings, to participation in conferences or virtual job interviews. Jabra has focused on high video and audio quality as well as on a series of dedicated functions, which also exploit artificial intelligence.

According to data released by Jabra (in collaboration with the analysis company Kantar) , the use of video equipment for professionals has gone from 66% of the pre-Covid-19 to the current 86%, as demonstrated also by the software developed to take advantage of the reflex and mirrorless cameras as a high quality webcam or by the special video camera of the new iPad Pro with M1 chip. The market for dedicated products is also growing strongly and in fact Jabra offers two solutions.

(Photo: Jabra) The Jabra PanaCast 50 bar acts as a video operator and also from the control room during meetings by optimizing the video and audio flow, as well as directing the shots on the speaker through the Virtual Director function that uses artificial intelligence. On board are three 13-megapixel cameras that cover a 180-degree field of view in panoramic 4k, nine Edge and two Edge A processors, eight microphones with beamforming and noise canceling, two tweeters and two woofers.

Among the functions there are those that allow for example to zoom in on distant users or to provide two video streams at the same time or to share the whiteboard. The possibility of counting the participants in a room is very useful for a better respect of the distance and maximum capacity.

Jabra PanaCast 50 will be available from June 15th in black and gray at a price of 1065 euros excluding VAT.

Plus, there's a built-in lens cover for added privacy when not in use.

Jabra PanaCast 20 will be available August 1st in black for € 267 excluding VAT.
