Receipt Lottery: what's in the Reserved Area

Receipt Lottery: what's in the Reserved Area
With the launch of the Receipt Lottery, the lottery portal has also activated the pending Reserved Area with which you can better manage your participation in the game. Apart from some initial technical problems solved quickly (linked to a certificate for secure access to the area), the system seems to work properly allowing for easier management of the lottery for the months to come.

Receipt Lottery: access and registration

To access the reserved area of the Receipt Lottery you can use three tools:

SPID Level 2; Electronic Identity Card (CIE); National Service Card (CNS). Within this area you can:

"register your certified e-mail address (PEC): in the event of a win, the official notification will reach you more quickly and easily"; register your email address and telephone number for "any communications": in all likelihood these channels will be used to communicate a win, but having no legal value you will then have to wait for the registered letter. Among the options that you can tick, there is also the following:

I request the blocking of the lottery code generation in the public area. By enabling this block you will be able to generate lottery codes only in your reserved area.

It should be remembered that accessing the Reserved Area is simply an option, but is not necessary for participation in the Lottery. In the event of a draw, in fact, a registered letter is still sent to the domicile linked to one's tax code (essential for creating the Lottery Code). The Reserved Area speeds up and simplifies this procedure.

Lottery codes

On the Reserved Area it is also possible to manage your own previously created lottery codes, thus also having the possibility to create new ones:

Here you can print or download one or more lottery codes; you can request to block the use or cancel the association with receipts (and virtual tickets) already registered in the lottery system in combination with your lottery code (or multiple lottery codes you generated and used previously). But be careful: blocking and deleting a lottery code are irreversible operations.

In this area you can access the codes already created (here the page for creating a new Lottery code), thus being able to print or save any lost code.

Receipts and extractions

The Reserved Area allows you to see all the receipts registered and valid for the Lottery purposes, thus allowing you to understand if you have done so everything you need to have a better chance of winning.

The area also offers useful information to understand how many of your receipts will compete for the next draw:

On the same reserved area it is also possible to ask for assistance or report problems of various kinds. From today the receipts will be able to be registered, but not all the merchants are already aligned: there are not a few telematic cash registers that have not yet updated to the Lottery, therefore not all receipts issued on the day will already be able to compete in the next draws. br>

Receipt Lottery

🤔 When does the receipt lottery start?

The Receipt Lottery was supposed to start on January 1, 2021, but a postponement was necessary to allow merchants to have more time to update telematic cash registers. The official start has therefore been postponed to February 1, 2021. Here are all the details.

▷ How much can you win?

The Lottery of Receipts provides prizes for both consumers and merchants who issue the receipt. In this case, weekly (from June 2021), monthly (from March 2021) and annual (the first at the beginning of 2022) draws are planned.

For consumers there are:

15 weekly prizes from 25,000 euros 10 monthly prizes of 100,000 euros 1 annual prize of 5 million euros

▷ How to create the lottery code?

To create the Lottery Code, you must go to this site and enter your Tax Code. You will immediately get the code with which to participate in the lottery. The code must be printed or saved on your smartphone in order to be able to show it to the merchant before issuing the receipt. Once the code is presented, each receipt becomes an opportunity to be drawn in one of the Lottery Receipts draws.

▷ What happens if I lose the lottery code?

Not a problem: the receipts created with the lost code will remain valid for the extractions. Furthermore, it is sufficient to repeat the operation and produce a new Lottery Code in order to continue to accrue winning opportunities with each purchase. Here are all the details.

▷ Can I pay the receipt in cash?

No, the Receipt Lottery is a project to stimulate digital payments and therefore payments made with cash cannot compete to the draws.

▷ Do I have to keep the receipt?

No, it is not necessary. In any case, the electronic payments remain registered and the receipt is registered for the purposes of the lottery. In the event of a win, it will therefore not be necessary to show it. Here all the details about the contest.
