On the occasion of CES 2021, Razer announced that the NVIDIA RTX 30 Mobile GPUs, of which you can find more information in our dedicated news, will be included in the new models of Razer Blade 15 and Razer Blade 17 which, however, will continue to use Intel processors of tenth generation.

The cheaper Razer Blade 15 Base Model is excluded from the update, on which the GTX 1660 Ti is still mounted. But every other configuration of the Razer Blade 15, whether Base Model or Advanced Model, will use RTX GPUs. Additionally, all available Razer Blade Pro 17s will use RTX cards. The Razer Blade 15 Base Model will have one RTX 3060 GPU option and two RTX 3070 GPU options. In addition, the Advanced Model will have two RTX 3070 GPU options, two RTX 3080 GPU options and an option with an RTX 3080 GPU with 16GB of VRAM.

. The Base Model will have 16GB of RAM, while the Advanced Model will have up to 32GB. For storage, the Base Model can be supplied with an SSD up to 512GB, while the Advanced Model will include a 1TB SSD on all options. The Razer Blade Pro 17 is similar to the Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model in that it will also use an Intel Core i7-10875H CPU and offer memory configurations up to 32GB. For storage, there are 512GB and 1TB SSD options. As for the next generation Mobile RTX GPUs, the Razer Blade Pro 17 will have two configurations each for the RTX 3060, RTX 3070 and RTX 3080.

The appearance of Razer's new Blade series laptops will remain the same. This means it will continue to have a minimalist chassis design with a full RGB keyboard and top-firing speakers on either side. There will be options for choosing 4K, QHD and FHD displays, with refresh rates ranging from 120Hz to 360Hz depending on resolution. Different configurations will also offer IPS and OLED screens.

A welcome addition to this year's Razer Blade 15 is the presence of a second SSD slot, in order to add additional storage space after purchase. This SSD + slot, as Razer calls it, will be available on all models. The Razer Blade 15 Base Model will be priced starting at $ 1,499, while the Advanced Model will need to shell out at least $ 2,499. Finally, the Razer Blade Pro 17 will start at $ 2,299. At the moment, the release dates of the products have not yet been released.
