Call of Duty Zombies like Warzone: will it become a stand-alone game?

Call of Duty Zombies like Warzone

The well-known insider Tom Henderson has launched a new indiscretion on his Twitter profile: what if Call of Duty Zombies became a stand-alone game? On the other hand, the mode that sees the undead as protagonists is beloved by fans of the Activision shooter saga and, a launch of a possible title based solely and exclusively on Zombies, could receive a good reception from critics and audiences. Let's analyze Henderson's words together!

The insider tweeted the following: “There are BIG things planned for the zombies. It won't be just a game mode for much longer ”. Tom Henderson, known for hitting the point several times, has therefore sparked various positive reactions from fans of the saga, but will this actually be the case? Will Call of Duty Zombies become a standalone game? We just have to wait, of course, for news from Activision. So far, we invite you to take the insider's words with a grain of salt, as they may turn out to be untrue. We invite you to stay up to date with us at Game Division for more updates about it!

Waiting for new information, another rumor would see the Call of Duty battle royale, Warzone, move to a map known to fans of Black Ops in the Ural Mountains. The battle royale, therefore, moves further and further away from Modern Warfare and gets closer and closer to Black Ops Cold War. If you would like to learn more about the news, please click here.

Here is the description of the last chapter of the saga: “Black Ops Cold War, direct sequel to Call of Duty Black Ops, plunges players into the unstable geopolitical conflict of the Cold War, in the early 80s . Nothing is ever what it seems in the gripping single player campaign, where you will face historical figures and harsh truths, fighting in world-famous scenarios such as East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, the Soviet KGB headquarters and more. “.

'Call of Duty: Warzone' Nuke Event Teased, New Easter Egg Dropped

KEY POINTS
  • 'Call of Duty: Warzone' is currently in its second season
  • It features the Outbreak mode that allows players to kill zombies
  • Many fans believe that 'Call of Duty: Warzone' would soon have a new map
  • 'Call of Duty: Warzone' players have a theory that Verdansk would be where a nuclear event in the game's second season would take place. Fans have varying details on how this would happen but they all believe that it would totally destroy all of Verdansk. Interestingly, a new discovery claim 'Call of Duty: Warzone' already hinted at the rumored event in-game.

The latest discovery about the rumored nuclear event in 'Call of Duty: Warzone' Season 2 was shared on Reddit by user Mondoschristmas. The user apparently uncovered an elaborate easter egg within the hit battle royale game that seemingly backs the wild fan-theory. Players can find it by heading to the hut inside the TV station area, known as one of the many bunker locations in the game.

In the location, 'Call of Duty: Warzone' players could find the map of Verdansk and if they aim at the map for several seconds, they will see an easter egg playing in front of them. When this is triggered, several explosions start to appear on the map. It lasts for about 30 seconds with the Verdansk map easily darkened by the series of explosions.

Following the explosions, poison gas permeates throughout the room, without affecting the player inside. It is probably the radiation that the nuclear explosion gives off after it blows on Verdansk. This easter egg could be the first in-game hint that the rumored nuke event in Verdansk is more than just a fan-theory. While there is a great chance that the event might eventually happen, Raven Software has not yet confirmed anything related to it.

'Call of Duty: Warzone' is currently in its second season. While nothing is official yet about the nuke event, the month of April is looking like another great month for players of the hit battle royale title. There are rumors that the devs would roll out the Ural Mountains that could feature 250 player lobbies.

While the latest information about the nuke event is interesting, it is worth noting that these are not official. 'Call of Duty: Warzone' players should therefore temper their expectations and take this information with a pinch of salt.
